Foi postado no site Rock Music Updates, que o guitarrista do Whitesnake e Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Joel Hoekstra vai fazer um projeto, pelo selo da Frontiers Records [o mesmo que lançou Level 10, Allen/Lande e Timo Tolkki's Avalon] ao lado de Russell Allen e mais convidados.
"Frontiers Records anunciou que Joel Hoekstra lançará seu álbum, chamado 13. Frontiers diz: 'Nós temos o prazer de trabalhar com Joel por muitos anos durante sua passagem pela banda Night Ranger e, claro, agora com o Whitesnake e estramos muito felizes em poder lançar Joel Hoekstra's 13, que estará à venda em Outubro'. Joel complementa: 'Estou feliz de anunciar que assinei para lançar Joel Hoekstra's 13 pela Frontiers Records!. Eu tenho o prazer de trabalhar com a Frontiers por muitos anos durante minha passagem pelo Night Ranger e, claro, com o Whitesnake e eu estou ansioso para lançar este projeto com eles. Mais detalhes serão revelados futuramente, mas por enquanto deleite seus olhos com os convidados ilustres que aparecerão nesse álbum!'
